Molly Russo, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Russo started her animal career working part time at the South Deerfield clinic in high school, as she is from Whately. She attended the University of Vermont for her undergraduate degree, majoring in Animal Science with a pre-vet concentration. She fell in love with dairy cows after being a member of their C.R.E.A.M program. Little known fact- she can hand milk a cow no problem!

After UVM, she attended the Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and earned her DVM in 2011. She transitioned from large animal medicine to exclusively treating dogs and cats. Dr. Russo joined in 2015 and purchased the practice in 2018. She is a member of the AVMA and the MVMA and is nationally accredited through the USDA. She provides local services with the Mass Animal Fund and the Belchertown Animal Control.

Dr. Russo has a particular interest in providing comfort for aging pets and preventative medicine and is passionate about understanding the strong bond you have with your pet.

She has a very short commute to work, which she loves. She lives with her husband Scott and her daughters Avery and Winnie. She refers to her home as the Pelham Zoo, with her 2 dogs Rookie and Foster.

Gina

Practice Manager

Gina has been working in the veterinary field for over 15 years, originally starting out as a client liaison. She has spent the last 11 years of her career working at an emergency and specialty hospital, and joined our hospital in June 2022. She is originally from New Jersey and currently resides in Holyoke with her husband and their 5 cats. In her free time she can be found reading, catching up on prime time TV or series on the various streaming services, gardening, or just snuggling with her favorite orange kitty, Timothy Cheddar (a/k/a Timmy). She is also working towards completing her business management degree with a concentration in hospital management and human resources.

Caisey

Veterinary Assistant

Caisey joined our team in early 2023 and has been a welcome addition to the Westbrook Vet family. She is always smiling and happy and she loves making our staff members laugh! She is currently attending the UMass and when she is not working or in class she can be found out hiking with her cat, Augustus Beefcheek whom she fell in love with when he was being fostered with another one of our staff members for Belchertown Animal Control.

Anj

Client Services Liaison and Veterinary Technician

Anj started at our hospital in 2016 and has been a Technician since 2002. You can usually find her at the front desk or on the phone fielding questions and making appointments. Anj also loves being a foster mom to kittens that need bottle feeding or extra TLC. Often times, her kitten projects come to the hospital to be socialized and cared for. At home, her pets include dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and most recently, a kitten named Spencer Dudditz that has a liver shunt and needs extra care.

Marcy

Client Services Liaison and Veterinary Assistant

Marcy joined our team full-time in September of 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant and Client Service Liaison. You may get her on the phone to help schedule appointments or fill prescriptions. She is a Belchertown local with 2 rescue dogs, 4 budgies, and a turtle, as well as a husband and 3 kids. She owned and operated her own daycare facility for 20 years but has changed career paths to help care for fur-children.

Munchie

Clinic Kitty

Munchie is our hospital princess and was adopted from Belchertown Animal Control in November 2021. You may find her walking around the office looking for food, or possibly screaming at the staff to feed her something other than her prescribed diet food. She loves to steal your seat as soon as you stand up and warm towels straight from the dryer.
